Happy New Year!

January 2022! The library is excited to start the new year with new materials and new programing. Check the library regularly for new fiction and nonfiction books for children and adults. We also have our new virtual book club selection, Piransi, by Suzanna Clarke. Stop in for a copy, then stop back in to give us your thoughts on the book or leave them on our Facebook page.

The Gentry Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual Quilt Show from January 14 – 21st (excluding Sundays) from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. The library is showcasing quilting books during the show. Browse our selection of how-to books and novels about quilting and quilters.

Yoga is coming back to the library! The group-led sessions are open to all ages and all levels. Sessions are on Mondays 9:00am – 10:00am (beginning January 10) and Thursdays 5:30pm – 6:30pm (starting January 13). Please bring your own mat.

Beginning Wednesday, January 12, at 10:30 – 11:15, Storytime @ the Library for toddlers returns. The activity includes several short book readings and a snack. Reservations not necessary.

On Fridays beginning on January 14th, the public is invited to join library staff for Coffee (or tea/hot chocolate) and Conversation @ the Library. Stop in and visit a while. We can talk about books, our community, or the weather. You can always just grab a book and a cup of coffee.

Hope you’re enjoying the snowflake windows. We’ll leave them up until February. From the forecasts, looks like we’re going to have some real ones soon. Stay safe & drop by your library!
