December @ the Library

December is an exciting month at the library. We’re expanding our hours, offering a new craft, and getting ready for winter.

Beginning December 4th, the library will be open Saturdays from 9:00 – noon. Our weekday hours are Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 5:30 and Friday 9:00 – 5:00. The library will close at 5:00 on holiday eves. The library will be closed December 23rd – December 26th for the Christmas holiday and December 31st – January 2nd for the New Year’s holiday.

Our December children’s craft is a felt Christmas tree with ornaments. Starting December 6th, pick it up in the library or call ahead and we’ll bring it curbside.

We’ll have new window and book displays the first week of December. Come in and select a holiday novel to put you into a celebratory mood or a Christmas cookbook to help you plan your festivities. Check out (no pun intended) our new books. We have current releases by Anthony Doerr, Mary kay Andrews, Paula Hawkins, Liane Moriarty, Nicholas Sparks, David Baldacci, Hillary Clinton, Debbie Macomber, John Grisham, Jeff Kinney, J.K. Rowling, and more. On our shelves you’ll find a Santa Cruise, a Wimpy Kid, a Christmas Pig, a little romance, and a little intrigue.

Our virtual book club offering is Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier. Don’t miss this intriguing classic.

Stay tuned in January for updates on library programing and some other nice surprises.

Happy Holidays!
